In the year from June 1, 2017, to May 1, 2018, Doing Business recorded 314 regulatory reforms making it easier to do business —with 128 economies implementing at least one. Almost one-third of all reforms recorded in 2017/18 were implemented in two areas—starting a business and enforcing contracts. Afghanistan, Djibouti, China, Azerbaijan, India, Togo, Kenya, Côte d’Ivoire, Turkey and Rwanda were the most improved economies in 2017/18 in areas tracked by Doing Business.
