In the year from June 1, 2015, to June 1, 2016, Doing Business recorded 283 regulatory reforms making it easier to do business —with 137 economies implementing at least one. The most reformed indicators this cycle are starting a business, paying taxes and getting credit. The region with the highest share of reforms across all topics is Europe and Central Asia. The 10 economies showing the most notable improvement in performance on the Doing Business indicators in 2015/16 were Brunei Darussalam, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Belarus, Indonesia, Serbia, Georgia, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
